Sharp and Schneider Electric Group organised a motivational program ‘ Conserve My Planet’ for the students with a view to spread energy conservation spirit and to inculcate the ethical and social responsibilities among the students. It is the need of the hour to save energy for future generation.

In all, 11 schools participated in the Green championship. Each student had come up with a project that would contribute to the nation’s quest for energy conservation.

Our school champion, Aahan Wargane opted for the Bio Digester project. 6 other CMP students who accompanied him to the finale were-Shristi Biswas, Aaryan Chordiya, Devanshi Shah, Pratyush Paul and Mugdha Patil. Under the able guidance of the CMP co-ordinators -Mrs. Sukhvinder and Mrs. Deepa and one of our senior Science teacher, Mrs. Remmya, we were successfully able to implement the planned project. The kitchen waste was used as the feed to be put into the Bio Digester for producing biogas which can be used as cooking fuel.
