Yesterday was a dream, tomorrow is a vision, but a day well lived makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Carrying the same vision, we the VPMS family successfully complete 11 glorious years of its existence on 18th July 2019.To commemorate the day a special assembly was conducted by the students of Grade IX.
Foundation Day is an exciting day for the school and provides students and staff, alike an opportunity to reflect on the growth of the school over the last 11 years and the school’s bright future ahead.
The mission of our school is to provide quality and comprehensive educational opportunities for all students in a safe and caring environment; to enable students to achieve individual excellence; become productive citizens and be successful in their future endeavours. To help us achieve this mission always, Grade VII performed a prayer dance to seek blessings of Goddess Saraswati- the embodiment of knowledge to remove the darkness of ignorance and awaken consciousness of wisdom in all of us.
Next Hiya Bhat, a student of Grade IX acquainted all about the significance of this day with her brilliant speech.
To give us yet another treat, students of class IX put up a group song ‘Chhuna Hai Humei Asman’ which aptly described the sentiments that it is possible to achieve anything with faith, belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination, and dedication.
Foundation Day is an important milestone each year. In order to fill all of us with a sense of history and recollect how we had begun, a power point presentation prepared by Kuber, Rudransh Rai and Abuzar Jamilee was shown which chronicled the important milestones of the school and showed gratitude for the wisdom, courage and commitment demonstrated by those who contributed to the establishment and growth of the School. Another highlight of the programme was a video prepared by these students which recorded the experiences of the staff that has been a part of the school since its inception.
The Principal Ms Candice Braganza addressed the school and extended her warm wishes and instilled students with positivity to put up the flag of the school high.
It was a day of reminiscing our very beginning which the students and teachers enjoyed alike.
