7th October 2015 – Guest lecture on Education

ram-mankariMr. Ram Mankari, Chairman & Managing Director of CSS conducted an interactive session on the topic ‘Education’. The session started with an introduction and felicitation of the guest by the director Dr. Manoj Narwade. Mr. Mankari explained and emphasized the need of education which is knowledge. He also explained important factors to be successful manager or a
businessman which were to have skills, discipline, hardwork, communication to be successful.

He also enlightened the crowd by new and unique ideas and gave live examples of Faasos, Ola, etc to understand the uniqueness and novelty of the current new business startups.

The session overall helped the students to motivate and bring about a change in order to be successful professionals.

28th August 2015

A guest lecture on the topic “21st Century Managers” was organized by PCMRD on 28th August 2015 by Mr. Sumedh Gupte.21st-managers

His focus was on today’s youth of the country. His motive was to promote creativity and productivity amongst the youth of our nation. And according to him this was possible only if today’s youth read any daily English / Marathi newspaper. He made the session very live by sharing his real life examples. He was very confident with a pleasing personality and full with inspiration.

The lecture was delivered to the audience of MBA 1st year and 2nd year students. Overall it was an effective and informative session.

22nd August 2015 – “HR Practices”

Mr Prashant Nimbalkar, Director, Worldwide Makers, conducted an interactive session on the topic ‘HR Practices’ on 22nd August 2015.

The session started with the introduction & Felicitation of the guest.prashant-nimbalkar

Mr Nimbalkar explained the basic concepts of human resources and how these are implemented by Team HR in the day to day working of an organization. He also explain about  the 5 key functions of HR such as HR Planning & Budgeting, Recruitment & selection, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development and Performance Management System(PMS).

The session helped students to analyse their own capabilities and how to implement those when they will actually start working. Overall the session was inspiring and motivating for students.

11th August 2015 – Corporate Communication and its importance

Dr. Manmohan Jha, General Manager (Operations), Kokal Interior Contracts (P) Ltd conducted a Guest Lecture on the lec-corp-commtopic ‘Corporate Communication and its importance’ on 11 August 2015.

Dr. Jha explained the basic concepts of communication and its importance in the modern day scenario. He also laid stress on the fact that seeking knowledge is very valuable and will help an individual to reach greater heights in his personal and professional life. He likened the knowledge to a flower and just like a flower gives fragrance the knowledge should also spread its aura all around us.

The session helped the students to become aware about importance of communication and seeking knowledge. Overall it was an enriching session for the students.
