Dr. Ashok Vikhe Patil
Dr. Ashok Patil , is the first Indian to become a President of International Association of agricultural Medicine and Rural Health (IAAMRH).
Before being elected as President, he has served the Association in various capacities.
Dr. Ashok Patil along with Magsaysay Award Winner Padmshree Dr.Rajanikant Arole founded the Indian Chapter of the Association in 1988, under the auspices of Pravara Medical Trust, Loni. (Maharashtra state, India).
Under the leadership of Dr. Patil, the Indian chapter has organized an Asian Congress in “Innovative Approaches to Rural Health” in January 1993 and an “International Conference on Woman and Child – Health, Empowerment, Rights and Development, in November 1998, in Loni, which were well attended by representatives from all over the world.
Dr. Patil has recently contributed to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam’s book “Reignited: Scientific Pathways to a Brighter Future”, which inspires children to choose the right career path.
Mrs. Nandini Charles

Mrs. Nandini Charles’ journey as an educator started in 1987 with Bishop’s English School, in the Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. Many years of teaching, training and administration in rural and urban India, helped her learn the ropes of education sector. She has several accolades to her credit, for her contribution to the field of training and education.
In 2002, she joined Vikhe Patil Memorial School as the Principal. Her manifold endeavours and leadership over the years, together with management support and parents’ co-operation has helped VPMS become one of the most sought after schools in the city.
In a career spanning three decades, Mrs. Charles has always encouraged her students to give equal emphasis to academics and co-curricular activities. She firmly believes that it is important for a child to explore different areas in order to harness his/her potential.
As the Director of Schools’ Programme, Mrs. Charles continues to take new strides in creating noble minds and facilitating students to achieve their true potential in sync with the school motto “Making Life Meaningful”. She will now be sharing her experiences to develop and nurture the other upcoming and existing educational units under The Dr. Vikhe Patil Foundation Banner, so that they too may create and facilitate similar learning experiences for all students under our portal. In addition, her role also involves overseeing the academic and administrative arms at VPMS Pune.
Mrs. Kiran Jadhav
The year 2017 will be Mrs. Kiran Jadhav’s tenth year at the Vikhe Patil Memorial School. She embarked on a teaching career after receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography in 1992. However, as a perennial knowledge seeker, she kept pursuing education and earned M.Sc in Geography in 2006.
In 2009, with nearly two decades of teaching experience, she took up the role of the Vice Principal of Vikhe Patil Memorial School.
As an educator, Mrs. Kiran Jadhav is a firm believer in the Pragmatic School of Thought. For her every opportunity has a learning aspect involved in it. The perspective and attitude make all the difference to become the best. She takes immense passion in being with children and mentoring students with continuous focus on harnessing their strengths and inculcation of moral values. To her “Students are not reservoirs to be filled but candles to be ignited. Each one of them is unique and comes with a vast potential.”
As the Principal, she will continue her journey towards excellence as she aims to keep working to maintain the standards the school has achieved and taking it to still greater heights with the visionary guidance of the Management ,her dedicated staff, creative students, supportive parents.
