The most important day in the calendar of a democratic country is the day that country chooses to become a democratic country. For India that red letter day is Republic Day 26 January is celebrated as the National festival. National festivals are celebrated for two reasons, one to invoke the memory of the brave hearts with whose efforts we have become free and the other is to instill respect in the young minds towards the brave hearts so that when today’s students become tomorrow’s responsible citizens, they  have something to look up to. At VPMS Lohegaon Republic day was celebrated with great fervour.
